A. S.: Well… Rome wasn’t built in a day. I think it’s a combination of factors. My whole intention is to help people… as best as I can.
I have a big arsenal of tools at my disposal.
Fifteen years of modeling and acting… when I worked for the greatest names, like Scorsese… top designers, couturiers… that helps! Then, strong technical skills, because I even chose to go back to school, to sit in classrooms again to get an additional degree at ESPI in Paris, the best in France, to be sure that when it comes to technical and legal matters everything is sharp… there’s also the huge hands-on experience. And then there’s the network I’m building, and a proactive approach… insightful… thorough. I notice that I never let go… until I’ve closed the deal. Often, people get discouraged by setbacks not me. I’m really selling properties or do properties search… as if my life depended on it… and I think people can feel that.
G.Wen : You’re an artist too. Do you miss cinema?
A. S.: It’s true, I miss cinema a lot. At the same time, I find incredible fulfillment… in real estate, when we sell very rare properties. Very often, generosity comes back around… and I’m fortunate that my clients put blind trust in me… which in turn often allows for very, very successful sales. One of my wildest experiences, I brought in a young writer… to write a short story about an rare apartment close to Palais Bourbon… That was absolutely fabulous… which makes me want to write several stories about other properties and publish them.
G.Wen : Parisian, international… Have you traveled a lot?
A. S.: Yes. When I was a model… I traveled all over the world. I also traveled enormously… through books, music… but I always come back to Paris… my land of choice… the city that inspired the greatest. Some would say it’s a state of mind… it’s true that I formed very powerful friendships here… for example, I was Anthony Delon’s partner… and close to Alain Delon… who is the most legendary actor, an icon in France and worldwide through them learned a lot… also… through all the other experiences I can share. And all this rich baggage… only keeps growing, like a gold bar of culture… and soon I hope… to rival… the Bank of France… [Laughs]
