The collaboration between Forte_Forte and Lessico Familiare has given birth to a collection titled “Poem for a Guy,” composed of unique pieces designed for a unisex identity. This collection was crafted using elements from Forte_Forte’s archives. “Poem for a Guy” disrupts the archetypes of the male wardrobe with a futuristic, nostalgic, seductive, lively, and authentic approach.
As we empty and mix the wardrobe of male fashion archetypes, bohemian shirts multiply, highly luminous pajamas expand, and striped blazers are turned inside out. Puffy sleeves with echoes of Shakespeare accompany glittering ribbons and new ties for this new masculine attire, while trench coats and Montgomery coats lose their bellicose nature to offer frilly touches and sparkling ‘bling-bling’.
Giada Forte states: “I immediately felt a significant emotional affinity, especially in sharing an intense love for the beauty of reclamation and respect for the poetics of the past. A strong and shared instinct for lightness, the dreamy dimension, which aims to offer the experience of immersing oneself in our universe. »
The “Poem for a Guy” collection will be unveiled during Paris Fashion Week and will later be available at Forte_Forte’s boutique on Rue de Grenelle before traveling to Milan and Madrid.
Lessico Familiare, a trio consisting of Alice Curti, Alberto Petillo, and Riccardo Scaburri, born in 2020, is a project focused on interior clothing. They create pieces by adding discarded curtains and crumpling tablecloths. It’s a one-season collection.
The verb tense of this narrative is the imperfect, which, as supported by Natalia Ginzburg, does not convey completed and finished actions but rather continuity.
It started at home, then on Benedetta Barzini, and exhibited their clothing at the Fondazione Sozzani. They also participated in the “Lunario” performance at Espacio Martín and in Rome, ranking third in “Who is on Next?”. Their work has been featured in various independent magazines such as Vogue America, Vogue Italia, i-D, Marie Claire, Elle, Grazia, Il Corriere della Sera, NSS, Virtus, Collectible Dry, and many others.
Forte_Forte, founded in 2002 by two brothers, Giada and Paolo Forte, has a singular objective: to place emotions and sensations at the center of their pieces. Starting with a small collection of hand-finished t-shirts, the Forte brothers have since created an internationally appreciated collection that still maintains its headquarters in Veneto, which defines the brand’s identity. The collection is characterized by allowing each piece to express its own personality, color, and pure forms, with subtle imperfections that emphasize sincerity and humanity.
Several boutiques have emerged since 2018, from Milan to Los Angeles, including locations in Paris, London, Tokyo, Madrid, Rome, Cannes, and Forte dei Marmi. These spaces are narrative and emotional, where objects and materials tell a story filled with echoes and suggestions.
Forte_forte is a container of sensations that are both classic and timeless. It evolves, but its spirit remains true to its beginnings.
